Used automatic shifter bezel / indicator assembly for all Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang with or without consoles. These are the best used ones from our inventory. These will have some minor issues with the chrome plating and most often need some detailing on the black pebble grain. This tube is embedded into the cylinder head making it rather difficult to remove intact. Note that the nut and ferrule assembly is made of two pieces, with the ferrule being a compression fitting used to secure the smog tubes to a series of ports on the cylinder head. Sold individually, 8 total needed for smog installation. Application is 1967 - 1970 390, 427. 428CJ engines. In 1975 Ford started making these out of stainless steel. Reproduction sound deadener for the seat divider on the 1967 - 1970 Mercury Cougar. This reproduction is as close to the original as possible, and is comprised of a mastic material. This item is trimmable and will fit bot the 67 - 68 and 69 - 70 seat divider.

Reproduction 428 Cobra Jet Exhaust Manifold Spacer 1968 - 1970 Mercury Cougar, Ford Mustang, Shelby and Torino Repro

Used angled chrome spacer for any 1969 Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. Good used part with very good chrome plating, usually one of the small locating tabs will be broken off of the back. New internal speedometer gear fits 4 speed toploader transmissions. The largest number of 4 speed toploaders came stock with this gear. Replaces Ford Part #: C4DZ-17285-A.

This clips affixes the plastic speedometer gear to the cable. Some have found that this OEM original clip fits a little better than the reproduction we offer. *Trivia* Did you know the first Cougar cast for production in 1968 was this "Custom Cougar"? This fine example was offered up on ebay summer 2008 for a mere $6500.

This is a good used speedometer cable from a 1969 - 1970 Mercury Cougar with a FMX transmission. The cable housing has no burns and the fragile plastic squeeze clip that fastens it to the back of the speedometer is not broken. Keep in mind that some 1970 models use a two part cable. This cable will work in place of the two part cable seen on some 1970 cars. This cable measures 58 1/2" at its very most outer ends.

Spindle nut kit for the 67 - 69 Cougar or Mustang. This 3/4-16 threaded nut fits most of the 1967-69 brake spindles. The exception would be some of the Boss 302 and some 428CJ equipped cars. Included are nut, cap, washer and cotter pin.

Used original rear spoiler as taken from a 1969 Eliminator. The 69 wing was lighter and much more prone to cracks and sagging as in 1970. This one was taken from a parts car and properly stored indoors since 1991. Impossible to find in this condition. Used steering wheel tension spring used in the tilt / tilt away steering column found in the Mercury Cougar or Ford Mustang. One required per car. Keeps tension on the steering wheel shaft so as to keep the steering wheel from contacting the upper column cover.
