This antenna was discontinued by the manufacturer. None of the known power antennas currently being produced will fit a Cougar without modification.
This will fit inside your fender and use the existing hole. Fully Automatic AM / FM Power antenna that extends when radio is turned on and retracts when radio is turned off. Total length of this power antenna is 14 1/2 " long, it is 4" wide and 2 1/2" thick. The antenna will stick approximately 1 1/4" above the fender when it is folded down. According to the manufacturer this antenna is 39" tall when fully extended.
*NOTE* This will not work in the factory antenna hole in the fender on the 1969-70 because of the way the door swings behind the fender. The antenna hole will have to be re-drilled in a new location to make this unit work on your 1969-70.

"Boy, service is just not the same as the "good old days?" I ordered a half a trunk load of parts and pieces from West Coast Classic Cougar and about 2 hours later got a phone call informing me that the order was picked and shipped. What are things coming to? Where is the fun in that?.....no more waiting days / weeks to find out if the parts are even available, no more multiple phone calls begging for your parts to be shipped. And hey Don/Lin....that 2 hours....you guys gotta slow down a bit or yer gonna hurt yourselves. LOL Thanks again guys!!"
