Temperature thermostat for use in very early 1967 cars with 390 engines. 2-1/2 inches in diameter, 195°degree opening like OEM Ford. This is a Stant brand of thermostat. Note, this is a larger diameter thermostat than the common one used on a small block and most Ford engines. Only used with the intake and thermostat housing with large size diameter of 2-1/2 inches.
Fits all* Ford V-8 engines, 1967 - 1973. *- NOTE: This will fit in the 351C, 351M or 400 but will not block off the port to recirculate the water back through the engine. This can cause the engine to run hotter than desired.
