    Description

There never was an Eliminator convertible from the factory, but we think there should have been. Since the rear quarter panels are shaped differently, we redesigned the side stripes to fit the contours of the convertible Cougar correctly. Otherwise, these are the same stripes we sell in coupe format, cut from OE-spec 3M Scotchcal vinyl and designed from a NOS stripe kit.

The kit includes 17 separate pieces, including all side stripes, hood stripes, rear spoiler stripe, ELIMINATOR rear quarter panel decals, and the often-overlooked 3-piece rear trim blackout stripes. This is the most correct and complete kit you'll find anywhere.

    Trent Neely Asked:
Could this application go on a '73?

    Answer
    WCCC Admin Answered:
You could use the "Eliminator" decals, but since the body style changed quite a bit between 70 and 71, the stripes for the side / hood decals would not match the length / the contours of the hood and side of the car.

Why am I being warned about potential exposure to chemicals in motor vehicle parts?

    • Some chemicals in motor vehicle parts are on the Proposition 65 list because they can cause cancer and/or birth defects or other reproductive harm.
    • When purchasing USED or NOS items, we do not know if listed chemicals are present in these products.
    • This product is known to contain the following listed chemicals:

I have been a cougar owner for just shy of 30 years, I have been dealing with part problems for a very long time. The people at WCCC have always be honest, and overly helpfull. I now have a 1970 XR-7 mostly rebuilt, and my son has a 1968 base...
