    Pros:
    • Good Quality
    Cons:
    • No instructions
Overall the seal appears to be of good quality. The only issue I had was that there were no instructions on which way to glue the seal on. It seems dumb that I could not figure out which direction to install the seal, however my old seal was brittle, hard as a rock, smashed and destroyed when I removed it so I did not have anything to compare it to or check proper fitment before I glued it on. The new one can be installed two different ways and again since i had the truck lid off and laying on a table I could not check which direction to install it. There are two flat sides on the seal, one just a little bit wider than the other. I took a guess and installed it with the wider side glued to the trunk and the narrower side away from the lid, this is NOT how it is supposed to be installed. So now the seal does not seal against the lip/rim on the body to make the seal. It would be nice to have a short note (with a cross section of seal) illustrating the proper way to install seal.

'68 DGS. No issues with the w/s. Easy install, use patience and not too much adhesive; nice, thin, and even bead. It is cut to fit, so make that cut count!

Haven't installed it yet but one thing I did notice is that it seems a little thinner than the original. Should work fine though. See picture to see the difference.

Great customer service first of all, from now on I will be buying everything I can from here. shipping was fast, packaged well. Install went very smooth, I was worried because this part does not say it will fit a fastback mustang, but instead coupe/convertible. But it has plenty to make it around the trunk. The rubber is so soft, it sticks very well and immediately. I wiped the seal and deck lid with rubbing alcohol, let it dry, applied a thin line of 3m 08008(link) to both, spread out the lines to about ½ inch wide, let it tack up for a minute, then applied another thin line to the seal, spread it out and immediately put it in place. Zero movement of seal once placed down, and zero glue oozed out, looks perfect.
