    Description

This Pump to Value Outlet Pressure Hose is 100% correct for the 1969 small block, and will work for the 1967 or 1968 with the 5/16 inch control valve fitting if the power steering hoses are routed the same as on the big block engines. The big block routing is far superior to the original routing as the original routing was susceptible to rubbing against the exhaust manifold. This hose has industrial high pressure fittings that are much higher quality than those available by most Mustang / Cougar Parts Dealers.

    Replaces Ford Part #: C9OZ-3A319-A.

Please Note: You can not use this hose with original hoses for the 1967 or 1968, as they were routed differently than the setup this hose works with. You will need to purchase both of the big block routed pressure hoses, both of the big block routed return hoses, and a big block power steering bracket to make this work.

The quality of the hose is very good. My main comment is about the way the product is advertised. (pump End - Small block). This makes it very difficult to pick the right hose for your installation. I purchased this thinking it would be good for a 1967 Cougar with a 289 engine a small block for this car. You will note that the engine size is not specified for any of these hoses. Also the hose length is not there either. I am not sure if there is different power steering or just one type for the 67 cougar. So, I ended up with a hose that does not fit. Be careful when you order any power steering High Pressure Hoses!
